Light and colour in drone photography

I love light and colour. I love the way light can bring out the colour of leaves on trees, of soil, of crops in fields, creating texture. I am very lucky, as an aerial photographer, to be able to view unique perspectives. Scenes people on the ground simply can’t see. The autumn sun is very low but this creates opportunities. Just look at the wonderful carpet of fields in this image. On the one hand, the light highlights the uniformity of the lines in the foreground. On the other, it enhances the roll of the countryside as it undulates away from the camera. It’s a landscape I want to see and document for others!
